Pampanga guv asks Covid-19 patients not to hide

PAMPANGA Governor Dennis Pineda on Thursday, September 2, 2021, urged suspected coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) patients to immediately report to their concerned health officers to receive necessary care and assistance.

During his visit to this municipality yesterday, Pineda stressed the importance of patients coordinating with the local government to prevent the symptoms from aggravating.

(Come out, don't be afraid. It won't help if you hide because you can't be treated. Don't wait until you can't breathe before going out because we will all have a hard time.)

The governor also stressed the possible spread of disease among family members if patients will not receive proper guidance from health officers.

Wala pong mabuting maidudulot kung magtatago kayo," he said.

(Please coordinate with your barangay to monitor you. Everything you need, we will try our best to channel them through the barangay to reach you faster so please help yourselves. There is nothing good about hiding.)

Pineda also assured the protection of patients to avoid discrimination and any untoward incidents.

(Our health workers know the protocol so you don't have to worry, and our constituents know the situation.)
