THE Iloilo City Government has ramped up its Covid-19 vaccination campaign by allowing residents to walk in in two mall mega vaccination sites -- SM City and Robinsons Jaro -- on Monday, September 6.

“We continue our barangay and house-to-house rollouts. We are also planning a store to store vaccination at Calle Real starting next week. Let us continue to work together," said Mayor Jerry Treñas.

“I would like to thank the Sy family through the BDO Foundation for supporting the vaccination efforts of the city. Initially, they have offered the services of a vaccination team to do 300 jabs a day,” he added.

The City Vax Teams will round up those left from the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) companies; regional offices of national government agencies; Department of Public Works and Highways-Western Visayas and contractors; fiscals; Philippine Ports Authority porters; and Army personnel from Jamindan, Capiz and towns of Dingle, Miag-ao, and Calinog, Iloilo.

Seminaries, retirement houses of priests, orphanages and nursing houses will also be scheduled.

Schools offering medical courses with face to face classes will have students 18 and above vaccinated, as well as those law graduates who are set to take the bar exam at Central Philippine University later this year.

Those staying in boarding houses will also be listed. (PR)
