MY UNCLE, Lipa City Archbishop Emeritus Ramon Arguelles, a well-known Marian apostle, posted on our family Facebook chat a very timely and special prayer that every Filipino should not only pray but also spread. I am sharing the prayer and asking, too, the readers to please, please pray it often and, please again, spread the prayer even more steadfastly and stubbornly than how pandemic vaccines are being preached.
The prayer covers petitions that we so badly need in the Philippines, Asia's only Catholic country that must act NOW, partly through this prayer. Here is the prayer, titled Consecration of the Philippines to Jesus through Mary Mediatrix of All Grace:
Eternal and Incarnate Wisdom, most beloved Lord Jesus, Redeemer of the human race, only Son of the Eternal Father and of Mary, Immaculate and ever virgin, humbly we kneel before you to ask pardon for our sins and to beg for Your mercy, You have chosen our people as a beacon of the Catholic faith in Asia and we always try to do Your Holy Will. But alas! We have not always been faithful to all You desire of us. Human weaknesses and sin have hindered our being Your light for the countless inhabitants of this vast continent. You have not abandoned us however in this sad state. Instead in various ways you always remind us of Your Most Holy Mother, the first to live fully Your Spirit Whom You have made to be our mother too and surest way to total union with You.
Great is your predilection for our country and people so that all throughout our islands' devotion to Mary runs deep among the Filipino people and through them to the rest of mankind revealing to all that Your holy mother has been chosen to bring You, the Father's wonderful gift to us, In You, God gives us all other good things, all graces. She truly is Mediatrix of All grace, which is You Yourself in You all other graces are poured down upon all mankind.
Beloved Mother Mary, Mediatrix of All Grace, you are God's instrument in gifting us with His only Begotten Son. Help us be truly and totally disposed to receive this heavenly grace. We consecrate ourselves to your Immaculate Heart so that our hearts, united to your heart, may entirely belong to your Son, Jesus. Through our total belonging to you may we be progressively united to your spirit and become, with you faithful disciples of your beloved Son.
Through you may we obtain from your beloved Son true sorrow for sins and the grace of holy life. May this consecration of each one of us and of our entire country, the Philippines, Oh Mary Mediatrix of All Grace, unite us most profoundly with Jesus. We therefore renew and ratify today in your hands the vows we have made in baptism, renouncing forever satan, his pomps and works. In giving ourselves wholeheartedly to the Incarnate Word, we sincerely pledge to follow Him until the end of our lives. With the heavenly court as our witness, we choose you Oh Mary, Mediatrix of All Grace, Mother of Mercy, to be our mother and queen. To you we entrust everything in our lives to that you may make all this work for the greater glory of God in time and in eternity. In the spirit of total confidence we entrust ourselves, all loved ones, our families and communities, our entire Filipino nation, all our good intentions to your motherly heart.
On this feast day in honor of your holy name, on this special day of homage to you as Mediatrix of All grace we pray:
-- that you help us make reparation for sins committed against the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and your Immaculate Heart'
-- that the Covid-19 pandemic be completely banished from and vanquished in our country and the whole world, and that all may obtain the grace of spiritual, societal, psychological and physical healing'
-- that our country and all nations enjoy lasting peace and freedom from all kinds of oppression and injustices;
-- that the God be preached in all the earth, most especially in Asia and that the Chinese people, in particularly, be converted to the Catholic faith;
-- that the Philippines may have God-fearing, patriotic, competent, decent, courageous and decisive national and local leaders most eager, for the love of Jesus and Mary, to serve selflessly our people'
-- for the progress of the National Movement for Mary Mediatrix of All Grace and the Movement for the dogmatic definition of Mary's universal mediation of grace;
We lay all these intentions to your hands, Oh heavenly mother, confident that you, who has given to us Jesus, All Grace Himself, will obtain God's countless blessings to those who love and serve you and your dear Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, Immaculate Heart of Mary, Mediatrix of All Grace, Mother of Mercy, we put all our trust in you. Let us never be confounded. Amen. (End of prayer)
Meanwhile, I am sharing more recent messages from Heaven in the recent days. On August 31, 2021, the Blessed Mother told mystic Gisella Cardia:
"My children, thank you for having responded to my call in your hearts. My children, I weep because I know what pain you will be facing; all this has been foretold, but you are wasting your time on the things of the world. Did my Jesus not leave you the words “ask and it will be given unto you”? Dear children, remain faithful to the Word of my Lord and He will abound in mercy and providence.
"Children of my heart, do not be conformed to what the world tells you: do not run to those who assure you of protection, for only my Jesus protects, assists, helps and loves you. Continue within the true Magisterium of the faith and do not let yourselves be deceived. Now I bless you in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, Amen."
On August 28, 221, this time to mystic Pedro Regis, our Blessed Mother said:
"Dear children, turn away from the world and live turned towards Paradise, for which alone you were created. Open your hearts to the Lord’s Call. You are in the world but not of the world. Give me your hands and I will lead you to Him who is your Only and True Savior. You are heading for a painful future.
"You will be persecuted because of your faith. False prophets will act and sow discord everywhere. I ask you to keep the flame of your faith alight. Do not allow the devil to enslave you. In these difficult times, your weapon of defense is the truth. Do not be discouraged. I love you and will always be at your side.
"When you happen to fall, call out to Jesus. In Him is your victory. Onward without fear. I will pray to My Jesus for you. This is the message I give you today in the name of the Most Holy Trinity. Thank you for allowing Me to gather you here once more. I bless you in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen. Be at peace."
