THE number of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) active infections in Cagayan de Oro has risen to 3,621, the City Health Office (CHO) reported.
These active cases are composed of 918 individuals who were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city, 2,689 outpatients, and 14 returning overseas Filipino workers (ROFs)/locally stranded individuals (LSIs).
The City Health Office also recorded 121 new cases, all of which were local transmissions.
Of the 121 local cases, 62 were local index cases, 18 are local cases with link, 25 are local authorized persons outside residence (Apors), and six are Apors with link. The CHO also recorded 10 mortalities.
This brought the cumulative Covid-19 case count to 17,955.
Cagayan de Oro also registered 111 Covid-19 patients who have recovered from the disease, bringing the total recoveries to 13,562.
The number of Covid-19 deaths in the city is now at 772.
Meanwhile, the total number of vaccinated confirmed coronavirus-positive individuals in Cagayan de Oro has reached 3,921.
According to CHO, of the 3,921 vaccinees, 2,453 were vaccinated with Sinovac vaccine, 741 were vaccinated with AstraZeneca, 258 with Pfizer, 228 with Sputnik V, 227 with Janssen, four with Sinopharm, and 10 with Moderna.
Of the 2,453 coronavirus-positive Sinovac vaccinees, 1,945 individuals are experiencing mild symptoms, 350 are asymptomatic, 151 have moderate symptoms, and seven are severe cases.
Among the 741 AstraZeneca vaccinees, 552 individuals have mild symptoms, 136 are asymptomatic, 49 have moderate symptoms, and four severe cases.
