Vax sites in Cebu City open to walk-in


ALL the vaccination sites in Cebu City, except the vaccination site in University of Cebu (UC) Banilad, will cater to walk-in individuals who belong to Priority Codes A1 to A5 on Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2021.

Cebu City Acting Mayor Michael Rama in a Facebook post on Sept. 7 said the vaccination sites which will accommodate walk-in individuals include the site in Ayala Center Cebu, New Normal Oasis for Adaptation and a Home (Noah) Complex in South Road Properties (SRP), Robinsons Galleria, SM City Cebu, SM Seaside City, Southwestern University, UC Senior High School Private Campus, and in Waterfront Hotel.

All those who plan to avail of the one-day open house vaccination must ensure they are already registered with the city's coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) vaccination program through, advised Rama.

Priority Codes A1 to A5 refer to individuals who are considered medical frontliners, senior citizens, persons with comorbidities, economic workers, and indigent population, respectively.

Rama in his post said that the "open house" vaccination is an offering to Mama Mary.

"Pwede mu-walk-in sa tanang vax sites nato, way labot sa UC Banilad, ugma'ng adlawa, Miyerkules, Sept. 8, agi og paghalad nato sa birthday ni Mama Mary," Rama's Facebook post states. / JJL
