PREMIERE shopping mall SM City Clark, in partnership with the Commission on Elections (Comelec), is hosting the registration of voters from the cities of Angeles and Mabalacat.
Residents from Angeles City were accommodated from September 3 to 4 and 10 to 11.
Meanwhile, Mabalacat City residents will be accommodated from September 17 to 18 and 24 to 25.
The voter registration area is located at the Event Center in front of SM Foodcourt.
Comelec has earlier partnered with SM Supermalls to provide the public a safer, and more convenient registration venue amidst the prevailing Covid health crisis.
To register, an individual must be a Filipino citizen; at least 18 years old by the time of the elections (May 2022); and a Filipino resident for at least one year, residing in the place in which he/she intend to register in for at least six months.
Registrants must also download and accomplish the CEF-1 application form via https://comelec.gov.ph/ or via https://irehistro.comelec.gov.ph/cef1 and the Coronavirus Self Declaration Form, and bring at least one valid ID.
The voter registration center, like all other government service centers in the mall, is required to follow the Safety Protocols issued by the Inter-Agency Task Force.
Comelec shall limit the number of registrants per day. Execution of health declaration forms, checking of body temperature and physical distancing along with the mandatory face mask and face shields will be enforced on site.
Comelec is the latest government agency to partner with the mall chain in bringing basic government services closer to the public.
Other in-mall government services include Covid vaccination, international vaccine certification at the Bureau of Quarantine satellite office, National ID registration, passport application and express services from government agencies such as PagIbig, PhilHealth, Social Security System and Government Service Insurance System.
