New Covid-19 cases in Cagayan de Oro at 102

THE Cagayan de Oro City Health Office has reported 102 new coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases on Saturday, September 11, 2021, bringing the cumulative number of infections in the city to 18,401.

Of the 102 new confirmed cases, 59 were local index cases, 24 were close contacts of previously confirmed cases, 11 were local authorized persons outside residence (Apors), six Apors with link, and one mortality.

Cagayan de Oro recorded 3,773 active cases, 908 of whom were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city, 2,849 were outpatients, and 16 ROFs/LSIs.

The city also registered 98 new coronavirus-positive persons who were now tagged as "recovered." This brought the total number of recoveries in Cagayan de Oro to 13,841.

The number of Covid-19 deaths in the city was now at 787.

Meanwhile, the total number of vaccinated individuals who tested positive for coronavirus in Cagayan de Oro is now at 4,169.

Of the 4,169 vaccinees, 2,603 were vaccinated with Sinovac vaccine, 792 were vaccinated with AstraZeneca, 276 with Pfizer, 243 with Sputnik V, 239 with Janssen, five with Sinopharm, 11 with Moderna.

Of the 2,603 coronavirus-positive Sinovac vaccinees, 2,061 individuals were experiencing mild symptoms, 375 were asymptomatic, 160 were moderate cases, and seven were severe cases.

Among the 792 AstraZeneca vaccinees, 595 individuals had mild symptoms, 144 were asymptomatic, 49 had moderate symptoms, and four were severe cases.
