Angeles City records 6 new Covid-19 deaths

THE Angeles City Government has recorded six new Covid-19 deaths on Saturday, September 11, 2021.

The total number of deaths from the virus in the city has climbed to 444 as of Saturday.

The new fatalities were from Barangays Lourdes Northwest (2); Balibago (1); Pulungbulu (1); Sapalibutad (1); and Anunas(1).

The City Health Office also reported 66 new cases of coronavirus as of Saturday.

Active Covid-19 case in the city soared to a total of 1,482.

Some 10,503 residents had contracted the virus since March 2020, based on the City Government's report.

Mayor Carmelo "Pogi" Lazatin Jr. said 8,583 of these had recovered from the virus.

As of Friday, the mayor said a total of 106,587 individuals were fully vaccinated.

Lazatin added that some 178,387 persons received their first dose of Covid-19 vaccines.
