73 new Covid-19 cases recorded in Cagayan de Oro

CAGAYAN de Oro City recorded 73 new coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) cases Wednesday, September 15, 2021, bringing the cumulative number of infections in the city to 18,686.

Of the 73 new confirmed local cases, 46 were local index cases; 18 were close contacts of previously confirmed cases; one local authorized person outside residence (Apor); three Apors with link; and five mortalities.

The city recorded 3,820 active cases, 901 of whom were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city; 2,904 were outpatients; and 15 were returning overseas Filipinos (ROFs) and locally stranded individuals (LSIs).

The city also registered 91 new recoveries. This brought the total number of recoveries in the city to 14,066.

The number of Covid-19 deaths in the city rose to 800.

Meanwhile, the City Health Office recorded 4,329 total number of vaccinated confirmed coronavirus-positive individuals. Of the figure, 2,562 were fully vaccinated.

According to the City Health Office, of the 4,329 vaccinees, 2,703 were vaccinated with Sinovac; 818 were vaccinated with AstraZeneca; 284 with Pfizer; 256 with Sputnik V; 251 with Janssen; five with Sinopharm; and 12 with Moderna.
