THE total number of individuals who have received their doses of the Covid-19 vaccine in Cagayan de Oro City as of September 2, 2021 reached to 351,463, according to the report of the City Health Insurance Office.
Of the 351,463 vaccinated Kagay-anons, 227,126 got their first dose of the vaccines, while 124,337 were fully vaccinated.
According to the said report, among the 304,603 vaccinees, 266,132 were vaccinated at city-run vaccination sites and 85,331 were vaccinated at the hospitals.
Of the 266,132 individuals vaccinated at city-run vaccination sites, 27,764 were frontline healthcare workers; 53,183 were senior citizens; 77,208 were persons with comorbidities; 97,864 were essential frontline workers; 6,806 were from the A5 priority group; and 3,307 were from the Filipino-Chinese community.
Meanwhile, Cagayan de Oro has recorded 74 vaccinated deaths as of September 14, 2021.
Of the said figure, 36 were vaccinated with Sinovac vaccine; 19 with AstraZeneca; 11 with Janssen; six with Sputnik V; and two with Pfizer.
Cagayan de Oro City now has a total of 800 Covid-19 deaths, in which majority of them were unvaccinated at 726.
