New Covid-19 cases in Cagayan de Oro at 93

THE Cagayan de Oro City Health Office has reported 93 new coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases on Saturday, September 18, 2021, bringing the cumulative number of infections in the city to 18,947.

Of the 93 new confirmed cases, 59 were local index cases, 17 were close contacts of previously confirmed cases, 12 were local authorized persons outside residence (Apors), one Apor with link, and four mortalities.

Cagayan de Oro recorded 3,839 active cases, 934 of whom were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city, 2,889 were outpatients, and 16 ROFs/LSIs.

The city also registered 48 new coronavirus-positive persons who were now tagged as "recovered." This brought the total number of recoveries in Cagayan de Oro to 18,947.

The number of Covid-19 deaths in the city was now at 807.

Meanwhile, the total number of vaccinated individuals who tested positive for coronavirus in Cagayan de Oro is now at 4,472.

Of the 4,472 vaccinees, 2,791 were vaccinated with Sinovac vaccine, 842 were vaccinated with AstraZeneca, 295 with Pfizer, 266 with Sputnik V, 261 with Janssen, five with Sinopharm, 12 with Moderna.

Of the 2,791 coronavirus-positive Sinovac vaccinees, 2,215 individuals were experiencing mild symptoms, 398 were asymptomatic, 171 were moderate cases, and seven were severe cases.

Among the 842 AstraZeneca vaccinees, 632 individuals had mild symptoms, 155 were asymptomatic, 51 had moderate symptoms, and four were severe cases.
