Covid-19 recoveries in Cagayan de Oro now at 13,743

THE total number of people who have recovered from the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) in Cagayan de Oro City reached 14,652 after 103 residents were tagged as recovered.

The City Health Office also recorded 65 new Covid-19 cases, one of whom is a returning overseas Filipino worker (ROF) and 64 are local cases, bringing the cumulative number of confirmed infections to 19,193.

Of the 65 new local cases, 24 were local index cases, 28 were close contacts of previously confirmed cases, nine were local authorized persons outside residence (Apors), and three were Apors with link.

Cagayan de Oro City logged 3,721 active cases, 815 of whom were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city, 2,889 were outpatients, and 17 were ROFs/LSIs.

The number of Covid-19 deaths in the city was now at 820.

Meanwhile, the total number of coronavirus-positive vaccinated individuals in Cagayan de Oro was now at 4,596, the City Health Office reported.

According to the City Health Office, of the 4,596 vaccinees, 2,864 were vaccinated with Sinovac vaccine, 864 were vaccinated with AstraZeneca, 303 with Pfizer, 272 with Sputnik V, 270 with Janssen, six with Sinopharm, and 17 Moderna.

Of the 2,864 Covid-positive Sinovac vaccinees, 2,263 individuals were experiencing mild symptoms, 417 were asymptomatic, 177 were moderate cases, and seven were severe cases.

Among the 864 AstraZeneca vaccinees, 648 individuals had mild symptoms, 160 were asymptomatic, 52 had moderate symptoms, and four were severe cases.
