Covid-19 recoveries in Cagayan de Oro now at 13,743

THE total number of people who have recovered from the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) in Cagayan de Oro City reached 13,743 after 71 residents were tagged as recovered.

The City Health Office also recorded 106 new Covid-19 cases, all of which are local cases, bringing the cumulative number of confirmed infections to 18,299.

Of the 106 new local cases, 61 were local index cases, 16 were close contacts of previously confirmed cases, 15 were local authorized persons outside residence (Apors), six were Apors with link and eight mortalities.

Cagayan de Oro City logged 3,773 active cases, 916 of whom were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city, 2,842 were outpatients, and 15 were ROFs/LSIs.

The number of Covid-19 deaths in the city was now at 783.

Meanwhile, the total number of coronavirus-positive vaccinated individuals in Cagayan de Oro was now at 4,107, the City Health Office reported.

According to the City Health Office, of the 4,107 vaccinees, 2,565 were vaccinated with Sinovac vaccine, 779 were vaccinated with AstraZeneca, 272 with Pfizer, 237 with Sputnik V, 238 with Janssen, five with Sinopharm, and 11 Moderna.

Of the 2,565 Covid-positive Sinovac vaccinees, 2,031 individuals were experiencing mild symptoms, 371 were asymptomatic, 156 were moderate cases, and seven were severe cases.

Among the 779 AstraZeneca vaccinees, 585 individuals had mild symptoms, 141 were asymptomatic, 49 had moderate symptoms, and four were severe cases.
