Former Candaba mayor on possible return to politics: 'All will be revealed October 1-8'

FORMER Candaba mayor Danilo Baylon said on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, that his strong faith in God will show him the way if he will run for an elective position come October 8.

In an exclusive interview with SunStar Pampanga, Baylon said that “he will obey God’s command and whatever plans he has will all depend on God."

October 1 to 8 are the dates set by the Commission on Elections for national and local candidates seeking elective positions in government from president, vice president, senators congressmen, governors, vice governors, board members, mayors, vice mayors and councilors to file their certificates of candidacy.

Baylon said since the start of the pandemic, he and his wife Apo Aniway Baylon and DanWay Missionaries and DanWay Food Processing Corporation have never stopped helping those in need, not only in Pampanga but in many parts of the country.

Baylon has already provided food assistance to thousands of persons with disabilities (PWDs), solo parents, senior citizens and poor families in almost all towns and cities in Pampanga.

In the City of San Fernando, Baylon said some 50,000 individuals in all barangays will be given food assistance, ranging from 500 to 2,500 per barangay, adding that he hopes to reach all isolated and remote barangays before the end of October.

Baylon said he is doing this to inspire people not to lose hope and pray to God and obey his teachings, saying that only God can end this pandemic.
