New Covid-19 cases in Cagayan de Oro at 52

THE Cagayan de Oro City Health Office has reported 52 new coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases on Saturday, September 25, 2021, bringing the cumulative number of infections in the city to 19,299.

Of the 52 new confirmed cases, one was returning overseas Filipino worker (ROF), one was locally stranded individual (LSI), 29 were local index cases, 11 were close contacts of previously confirmed cases, five were local authorized persons outside residence (Apors), two Apors with link, two persons deprived of liberty (PDLs), and one mortality.

Cagayan de Oro recorded 3,515 active cases, 644 of whom were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city, 2,853 were outpatients, and 18 ROFs/LSIs.

The city also registered 116 new coronavirus-positive persons who were now tagged as "recovered." This brought the total number of recoveries in Cagayan de Oro to 14,962.

The number of Covid-19 deaths in the city was now at 822.

Meanwhile, the total number of vaccinated individuals who tested positive for coronavirus in Cagayan de Oro is now at 4,651.

Of the 4,651 vaccinees, 2,900 were vaccinated with Sinovac vaccine, 873 were vaccinated with AstraZeneca, 307 with Pfizer, 275 with Sputnik V, 272 with Janssen, six with Sinopharm, 18 with Moderna.
