Some 400 Zontians from Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and the Philippines gathered during their 19th Zonta International District conference in Thailand on Sept. 20 to 21, with the theme, “Recover! Rebuild! Rehabilitate!” in Unity and Safety.
The event discussed the vision, thrusts, major programs in advocacy and service, clubs’ biennial reports, awards, citations and future projects. It also launched a special thematic project, the Elevator Speech, which will symbolically illustrate the perspectives and projects toward the apex of thematic accomplishments.
The highlights were the reports and election of outgoing and incoming officers for the next biennium 2022-2024.
