Aeta farmers get training on new technology

AETA farmers underwent a technology training for High Value Crops and Poultry or Livestock Production on September 22 in Barangay Sta. Juliana, Capas, Tarlac to be able to utilize support received from the Department of Agriculture (DA).

The event was held under the leadership of the Central Luzon DA in collaboration with the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples and local government where 45 participants from the Aetas of Sta. Juliana Incorporated.

Under the Kabuhayan at Kaunlaran para sa Kababayang Katutubo or 4Ks project, the project was developed to give value to our indigenous Filipinos to grow their covered lands using modern technology and additional farming knowledge.

Earlier this month, the DA also gave agri-assistance to Aeta farmers under the 4Ks program.
