New coronavirus infections in Oro drops to 29

NEW coronavirus infections in Cagayan de Oro continued to decline, as the city recorded 29 new cases, bringing the cumulative caseload to 19,415.

Of the 29 new confirmed cases, 21 were local index cases, four were close contacts of previously confirmed cases, three were local authorized persons outside residence (Apors), and one person deprived of liberty (PDL).

Cagayan de Oro also recorded a drop in the number of active cases, which is at 3,285. Of the figure, 561 were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city, 2,706 were outpatients, and 18 ROFs/LSIs.

The number of coronavirus-positive persons who were now tagged as "recovered" increased after the city registered 149 new recoveries. This brought the total number of recoveries in Cagayan de Oro to 15,307.

The number of Covid-19 deaths in the city reached 823.

Meanwhile, the total number of vaccinated individuals who tested positive for coronavirus in Cagayan de Oro is now at 4,707.

Of the 4,707 vaccinees, 2,934 were vaccinated with the Sinovac vaccine; 883 were vaccinated with AstraZeneca; 310 with Pfizer; 276 with Sputnik V; 279 with Janssen; six with Sinopharm; 19 with Moderna.
