Carmen, village with the most active Covid-19 cases

BARANGAY Carmen is still the village with the most number of active cases in Cagayan de Oro as of September 27, 2021, recording a total of 375 active infections.

The cumulative number of active cases in the city has gone down to 3,285, of which 561 were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC) and other hospitals in the city, 2,706 were outpatients, and 18 were returning overseas Filipinos (ROFs) / locally stranded individuals (LSIs).

According to the report of the City Health Office, following Barangay Carmen are Barangays Kauswagan, with 273 active cases; Balulang, with 240 cases; Bulua with 225 cases; Iponan with 204; Lumbia with 190 cases; Macasandig with 178 cases; Bugo with 177 cases; Patag with 112 cases; and Gusa with 109 cases.

Meanwhile, the total number of vaccinated individuals in Cagayan de Oro as of September 27 was 402,586, of which 243,976 received their first dose of the Covid-19 vaccines and 158,610 were fully vaccinated.

According to the data, of the 402,586 vaccinated individuals, 311,280 were vaccinated in city-run vaccination sites, while 91,306 were vaccinated in the hospitals.

Among those who were vaccinated in city-run vaccination sites, 29,007 were frontline healthcare workers (A1 group), 55,226 were senior citizens (A2 group), 83,989 were persons with comorbidities (A3 group), 129,168 were essential frontline workers (A4 group), 10,583 were from the A5 group, and 3,307 were others from Filipino-Chinese community.
