THE Technical Education and Skills Authority (Tesda) has distributed starter toolkits to 80 graduates of Special Training for Employment Program in the province of Zamboanga del Sur.
The Tesda-Zamboanga Peninsula said in a statement that the recipients of the starter toolkits are those who completed livelihood skills training in Guipos, Zamboanga del Sur.
Tesda said 60 of the 80 completed the training in Produce Organic Fertilizer leading to Organic Agriculture Production National Level Certificate II (NC II) implemented by Tesda provincial training center in Pagadian City.
The remaining 20 recipients graduated in Cake Making leading to Bread and Pastry Production NC II implemented by Zoom Technical and Vocational Training and Assessment Center.
The starter toolkits shall be used in enhancing their skills or to engage in self-employment or other entrepreneurial activities, according to Tesda. (SunStar Zamboanga)
