THE City Health Office in Zamboanga City has fully vaccinated 130,297 individuals since the start of the vaccination program in March 2021.
Dr. Dulce Amor Miravite, city health officer, said the number of fully vaccinated individuals represents 18.75 percent of the 694,696 eligible population for inoculation.
“Once it is your turn, submit yourself for vaccination,” Miravite said.
She said most of those fully vaccinated are individuals with comorbidity who belonged to the A3 priority group with 54,875.
The remaining fully vaccinated individuals were the following: senior citizens (A2) 30,376; front-line personnel in essential sector (A4), 25,827; workers on front-line health services (A1), 15,189; and, indigents (A5), 4,030.
Miravite said 188,473 individuals have received their first dose representing 27.13 percent of the 694,696 total eligible population.
Miravite said that 65,482 of the 188,473 who received their first dose belong to the A4 priority group with 65,482.
She said the rest are as follows: A3, 54,581; A2, 31,258; A5, 19,581; and, A1, 17,301.
She said the vaccination continues in the different vaccination centers in Zamboanga City. (SunStar Zamboanga)
