"It is important for a congressman to partner with his mayors in the district to continue legislative programs on local concerns, national government agency funding and infrastructure programs. I would like to actively participate on the legislation on budget preparation and budget legislation. The budget legislation is one of the biggest laws congress need to pass every year," matod ni Gomez
Lakip sa prayoridad ni Gomez nga mabalik ang death penalty sa mga dagko nga drug traffickers ug mga brutal nga krimen.
"I will work on a legislation to bring back the death penalty to drug traffickers and heinous crimes. I will continue my advocacy on youth, sports, and anti-drugs in Congress," matod ni Gomez.

"I would like to strengthen the Libel law or the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012 to hold online platforms accountable over trolls or fictitious users on their platforms. A legislation on Anti-fake news law that will have to be strengthened with clear parameters to avoid “sensationalized news or over publicized political propaganda,” matod ni Gomez

"I would like to work on legislation for agricultural programs that will enact laws in preventing large scale smuggling of rice, laws that will strengthen our country’s sugarcane development programs," matod ni Gomez
Nanawagan usab si Gomez sa publiko nga gikinahanglang bantayan ang mga kandidato sa eleksyon hilabina kadtong nalambigit sa illegal nga drugas ug korapsyon.
"It is very important that our government officials are not linked to drugs and corruption and it is also important to see the good track record of our Leaders and candidates," pasabot ni Gomez

"I’m asking for my constituents to continue their support to me, to Congresswoman Lucy and to my team for us to continue the progress and development we’ve started. It is very important to have continuity in our plans and programs in Ormoc and the 4th district of Leyte," matod ni Gomez
