THE number of new coronavirus infections in Cagayan de Oro has gone all the way down to a single digit after the city recorded only four new cases, the City Health Office reported.
This brought the number of Covid-19 cases in the city to 19,834.
According to the City Health Office, of the four new local cases, one was a local index case, one Apor with link, and two mortalities.
Cagayan de Oro's active cases has also gone down to 1,365, of which 363 were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city, 998 were outpatients, and four ROFs/LSIs.
The city also registered 185 new coronavirus-positive persons who were now tagged as "recovered." This brought the total number of recoveries in Cagayan de Oro to 17,634.
The number of Covid-19 deaths in the city has remained at 835 in total.
Meanwhile, the total number of vaccinated coronavirus-positive individuals in Cagayan de Oro was now at 4,920, the City Health Office reported.
According to the City Health Office, of the 4,920 vaccinees, 3,063 were vaccinated with the Sinovac vaccine, 912 were vaccinated with AstraZeneca, 327 with Pfizer, 289 with Sputnik V, 300 with Janssen, six with Sinopharm, and 23 with Moderna.
