Rejoice holds Visayas search for next shampoo girl

APART from marvelous beaches, mouthwatering dishes, lush greenery and a rich culture, the Visayas region is also home to beautiful, strong and independent Filipinas. P&G shampoo brand Rejoice aims to feature and celebrate Visayan beauties through its #RejoiceGirlGwapaKaDai campaign.

The first of its kind in the region, the campaign celebrates the beautiful islands and the girls of the Visayas. This is the first time that a major shampoo brand is localizing its campaign, tapping different personalities across the Visayas.

Beauty queen Kim Crizaldo is proud to be part of this campaign, saying, “This campaign is really made for us Visayan girls, and I’m honored to be a part of this and I should say this is really making history because it focuses on us and it’s the first.”

Rejoice’s latest endorser Maymay Entrata, together with other beauty queens and popular vloggers-turned-Rejoice girls in the region, announced during a virtual event that it is the Bisaya women’s turn to shine.

Girls aged 18 to 30 can join the search and three girls from three different regions will be selected as finalists as they dance to the latest #RejoiceGirlGwapaKaDai jingle produced by a renowned music composer from Cebu, Jude Gitamondoc. Known for its catchy brand jingles, Rejoice had original music made especially for this campaign.

“We are excited for this campaign because it gives Visayan girls a chance to be their best,” said Miss Millennial 2019 and newest Rejoice shampoo girl representing Central Visayas, Nicole Borromeo.

According to another beauty queen, Miss Earth Philippines-Water 2019 Chelsea Fernandez who represents the Eastern Visayas region in this campaign, this will be Rejoice’s biggest one by far in the region highlighting its “3-in-1” benefits. “Having a ma-humot and healthy nga buhok can easily be achieved with Rejoice 3-in-1 Rich Magnolia, and it’s time for us to show our beauty as a region,” she added.

To join, one simply needs to submit an entry for the “Rejoice Girl TikTok Dance” challenge and post it publicly on TikTok, Instagram and Facebook using the hashtag #RejoiceGirlGwapaKaDai and location hashtag (#RejoiceCentralVisayas, #RejoiceEasternVisayas or #RejoiceWesternVisayas).

Nine finalists will get a three-month supply of Rejoice 3-in-1 Rich Magnolia and a chance to be featured on the different Rejoice social media pages. The grand winner will receive a one-year supply of Rejoice 3-in-1 Rich Magnolia and will be featured on the brand’s social media assets, local newspapers and blogs.
