THE cumulative number of individuals who have received their doses of Covid-19 vaccine in Cagayan de Oro as of October 12, was 461,867, according to the report of the City Health Insurance Office.
Of the 461,867 vaccinated Kagay-anons, 270,927 got their first dose of the vaccines, while 190,940 were fully vaccinated.
According to the said report, among the 461,867 vaccinees, 360,180 were vaccinated in City-run vaccination sites and 101,687 were vaccinated in Cagayan de Oro hospitals.
Of the 360,180 individuals vaccinated in City-run vaccination sites, 30,253 were frontline healthcare workers, 56,300 were senior citizens, 88,840 were persons with comorbidities, 164,571 were essential frontline workers, 16,765 were from the A5 priority group and 3,451 were from the Filipino-Chinese community.
Meanwhile, Cagayan de Oro has recorded 81 vaccinated deaths as of October 12.
Of the said figure, 41 were vaccinated with the Sinovac vaccine, 19 with AstraZeneca, 12 with Janssen, six with Sputnik V, and three with Pfizer.
Cagayan de Oro now has a total of 835 Covid-19 deaths, in which the majority of them were unvaccinated at 90 percent or 754.
