Carmen still has most active Covid-19 cases in Oro

BARANGAY Carmen remains to be the village with the most active cases in Cagayan de Oro as of October 13, 2021, recording a total of 129 active infections.

The cumulative number of active cases in the city has gone down to 1,134, of which 352 were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC) and other hospitals in the city, 779 were outpatients, and three were returning overseas Filipinos (ROFs) / locally stranded individuals (LSIs).

According to the report of the City Health Office, following Barangay Carmen are Barangays Balulang with 99 active cases; Kauswagan with 92 cases; Iponan with 74 cases; Bugo with 66; Lumbia with 62 cases; Macasandig with 60 cases; Bulua with 59 cases; Camaman-an with 45 cases; and Gusa with 43 cases.

Meanwhile, the total number of vaccinated individuals in Cagayan de Oro as of October 13 was 469,271, of which 274,155 received their first dose of the Covid-19 vaccines and 195,116 were fully vaccinated.

According to the data, of the 469,271 vaccinated individuals, 364,526 were vaccinated in city-run vaccination sites, while 104,745 were vaccinated in the hospitals.

Among those who were vaccinated in city-run vaccination sites, 30,321 were frontline healthcare workers (A1 group), 56,374 were senior citizens (A2 group), 89,003 were persons with comorbidities (A3 group), 167,559 were essential frontline workers (A4 group), 17,520 were from the A5 group, and 3,749 were others from Filipino-Chinese community.
