AUTHORITIES caught two persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) using illegal drugs inside the Biliran Provincial Jail in Naval, Biliran recently.
The PDLs were identified as Joel Dela Peña, 30, and Antonio Villena Jr., 49, both residents of the province.
Personnel of Naval Municipal Police Station confiscated from the two one open sachet believed to be containing shabu, one mobile phone, two empty plastic sachets, and three aluminum foils.
The police carried out the operation after receiving information about the incident from Biliran Provincial Jail.
Appropriate cases against the two PDLS were being prepared for filing at the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office, police said in the report. (SunStar Philippines)
