FERNANDINOS visiting the City Hall and Heroes Hall in the City of San Fernando are now reassured of the safety of the establishments from the coronavirus.

This, after the two government buildings received their respective Safety Seals from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), which conducted an inspection on October 15, 2021.

The DILG found the local government unit (LGU) compliant with all the Safety Seal Certification Checklist stipulated in the Joint Memorandum Circular 21-01 of DILG and other implementing agencies.

The criteria for the conferment of Safety Seal include the LGU’s use of StaySafe Application and Health Declaration Card (for the clients); availability of temperature or thermal scanner to assess employees, clients, and visitors; and isolation area for identified symptomatic employees; display of BHERTS and other Covid-19 emergency hotlines; availability of handwashing stations; installation of physical barriers in enclosed areas to maintain social distancing; and compliance to the disinfection protocol, among others.

DILG-Pampanga, together with City Local Government Operations Officer Marites Quillope, awarded safety seal certifications to the LGU represented by Rachelle S. Yusi, City Human Resource Management officer.

The LGU vowed to maintain its strict compliance with the minimum public health standards to ensure the general welfare of its employees and the Fernandinos transacting inside the government buildings.

The LGU displayed its Safety Seal at the entrance doors of both City Hall and Heroes Hall buildings.
