11 new Covid cases logged in Cagayan de Oro

THE number of new coronavirus infections in Cagayan de Oro has went down to 11, the City Health Office reported.

The cumulative confirmed cases in the city have reached 19,982.

According to the City Health Office, of the 11 new local cases, five were local index cases, three were close contacts of previously confirmed cases, two were local authorized persons outside residence (Apors), and one Apor with link.

Cagayan de Oro's active cases have also gone down to 952, of which 307 were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city, 642 were outpatients, and three ROFs/LSIs.

The city also registered 80 new coronavirus-positive persons who were now tagged as "recovered." This brought the total number of recoveries in Cagayan de Oro to 18,194.

The number of Covid-19 deaths in the city has remained at 836 in total.

Meanwhile, the total number of vaccinated coronavirus-positive individuals in Cagayan de Oro was now at 4,984, the City Health Office reported.

According to the City Health Office, of the 4,984 vaccinees, 3,098 were vaccinated with the Sinovac vaccine, 923 were vaccinated with AstraZeneca, 336 with Pfizer, 294 with Sputnik V, 304 with Janssen, six with Sinopharm, and 23 with Moderna.
