THE construction of the first two courtyard buildings of Almond Drive in Talisay City is now in full swing.
Its developer Primary Homes Inc. (PHI) is set to turn over the walk-up condominium units in the first quarter of 2022.
Almond Drive is a two-phase development composed of townhouses and Courtyards walk-up condo units with a total sales value of almost P700 million.
It sits on a 1.5-hectare property, close to the South Road Properties (SRP) in Cebu City. The Courtyards is also the firm’s first condo project in Talisay City and the fourth walk-up condo project in Cebu.
“Our project management team and our Primary Group of Builders affiliates are making sure that the project is on track despite pandemic disruptions. Our construction is in full swing. We are finalizing our turnover preparations and we will be ready by first quarter of 2022 as scheduled,” Ramiro Espina, PHI vice president for sales and marketing, said.
Almond Drive houses a total of 182 residential units, 65 of which are townhouse units which are already sold out.
The whole development will be completed by the middle of 2022.
Espina said the project’s strength lies in its affordability and proximity to the SRP, which is now a home to giant integrated developments like SM Seaside City, IL Corso, Isla de la Victoria and South Coast City.
Almond Drive is also accessible to Mactan-Cebu International Airport via the third bridge—Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway.
“We are banking on the growth of the SRP which we believe will change the landscape of Cebu,” he said.
Amid the economic challenges caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, Espina said real estate remains a big winner with new markets to tap.
“Now that there is resurgence, we are seeing young buyers with new preferences buying properties. I think that accessibility is one their major deciding factors, followed by affordability,” he said.
Sixty percent of the walk-up condo units at the Almond Drive have been sold out.
The condo units are priced from P1.7 million to P6.4 million inclusive of a parking space—motorcycle parking for studio units and carpark for both one bedroom and two-bedroom units.
Other amenities are swimming pool, clubhouse, children’s playground, fitness gym, open courtyards and gardens. / KOC
