HUMAN figures are considered the best form of art that artists like to create.

They also serve as a challenge to artists to create art using the human anatomy.

Dennis Valenciano, a watercolor and coffee artist, came up with an art exhibit dubbed "Hublas" (Naked) that highlighted the human figure in various forms.

The art exhibit runs at the Arts Association of Bacolod Gallery Cafe at the Art District in Barangay Mandalagan from October 15 to November 3, 2021.

"We used charcoal pencils to come up with these art pieces to help the people hone their appreciation about nudity as art," Valenciano said.

"This figure drawing showcases how beautiful God's creation of the human body and figures are and teaches the public that this is not maliciously done. This is a form of art that people can appreciate," he said.

Valenciano added that they want to introduce and re-introduce this form of art just like Adam and Eve, who were also naked before.

The artist encourages the public to see the exhibit so that they can also appreciate it at the level of art.

The art exhibit is also in collaboration with his fellow artist Revo Yanson and others.
