RESIDENTS in the Municipality of Magalang are advised to coordinate with the management of cemeteries first before visiting their departed relatives.
This as the Municipal Government recently announced the closure of public and private cemeteries from October 29 to November 3 as a safety measure to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in the town.
The move is aimed to prevent mass gatherings inside the memorial parks during the observance of the All Saints' Day.
Mayor Romy Pecson issued Executive Order Number 11 Series of 2021 for the closure of the cemeteries.
Vending and promotional activities are also prohibited inside the memorial parks.
