Ex-Candaba mayor backs Baylon's gubernatorial bid

A STAUNCH ally of former president Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo and in like manner to former Pampanga governor Lilia “Nanay Baby” Pineda has expressed his support to the candidacy of former Candaba Mayor Danilo Baylon to run for governor of Pampanga.

Jerry Pelayo, who also served as mayor in Candaba for three straight terms, articulates his endorsement of Baylon’s candidature this coming 2022 election.

Pelayo, who was likewise elected as the president of Pampanga Mayors League during his stint as the local chief executive in his hometown, has decided to plump for Baylon because his “kabalens” have been expressing their grievances and repeated cries on what’s happening in the province.

Pelayo told that he saw the sincerity of Baylon to serve the people of Pampanga and that he realizes Baylon’s desire to lead the province to have inclusive growth and bring more opportunities and benefits for every section of the society. He also disclosed Baylon’s plan to put up closed-circuit television or CCTV cameras on major thoroughfares in Pampanga for safety and security.

Gagawin nating once a month a meeting at hindi twice a year lamang.”
