POLICE arrested a 29-year-old man for P200 worth of illegally caught fish in Malitbog, Southern Leyte Saturday evening, October 23, 2021.
The violator, who is a resident of Barangay Iba, Malitbog, was apprehended after he went fishing at the marine protected area of the said town.
Personnel of Malitbog Municipal Police Station also confiscated fishing paraphernalia worth P450 during the operation.
The arrested person was brought to the police station for documentation and proper disposition. (SunStar Philippines)
