50% of San Fernando target population vaxxed

THE City Government of San Fernando has hit the 50 percent-mark on their anti-Covid 19 vaccination drive of eligible population.

On its October 21 bulletin, the City Government reported that a total of 121,216 individuals have already completed immunization against the disease.

This is equivalent to some 50.2 percent of the total 242,102 eligible population, or those between the above 18 years old, in the city, the report added.

Also, the City Government reported that some 48,043 individuals who are just awaiting a schedule for their second dose vaccination after receiving their first jabs.

In total, 169,659 Fernandinos have received their first dose of vaccines, which is equivalent to 70.08 percent of the eligible population.
