THE number of new coronavirus infections in Cagayan de Oro has gone all the way down to a single digit after the city recorded only six new cases, the City Health Office reported.
This brought the number of Covid-19 cases in the city to 20,101.
According to the City Health Office, all of the six new local cases were local index cases.
Cagayan de Oro's active cases have also gone down to 667, of which 195 were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city, 470 were outpatients, and two ROFs/LSIs.
The city also registered 15 new coronavirus-positive persons who were now tagged as "recovered." This brought the total number of recoveries in Cagayan de Oro to 18,598.
The number of Covid-19 deaths in the city has remained at 836 in total as the city recorded zero Covid-related deaths.
