How to take JFT-Basic after JLPT cancellation

DUE to the Covid-19 pandemic, the JLPT has been canceled. However, those who have been preparing for it can take the JFT-Basic instead.

Held six times a year, the JFT-Basic uses computers to administer its tests. The test center also properly observes social distancing and other coronavirus preventive measures. Generally, registration begins in even-numbered months (February, April, June and so on), and the test begins in odd-numbered months (March, May, July and so on). For registration, those who register as a group or organization must do so at least 15 days before their preferred test days; while those who register individually must do so at least three days before their test.
