A REAL estate developer has come through on its promise to reward Olympic silver medalist Nesthy Petecio, turning over to her a house and lot on Monday, October 25, 2021.

After the talented Filipina boxer won a silver medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, Ovialand Inc. had committed to give Petecio a Caliya house and lot unit worth P2.5 million in Caliya, Candelaria in Quezon Province.

On Monday, Ovialand president Pammy Olivares-Vital posted photos of the turnover on her Facebook page, saying Petecio was giving the new home to her younger sister.

“Para sa kanila muna bago ako (for them first, before me),” Vital said the boxer kept saying as the boxer’s sister reportedly cried tears of joy.

Petecio’s win at the Tokyo Games last August 3, 2021 made her the first Filipina boxer to clinch an Olympic medal. (CTL)
