In a crowd of achievers and quota busters, there are really some who stand out and excel making it impossible not to notice and recognize them for the huge contribution they imparted to the success of a company.

Santos Land Development Corporation, for instance, will not let a year pass by without giving credits to whom credits are due. For its 50th anniversary, the homegrown developer will recognize anew its top-performing people by gifting plaques and cash incentives. All the more reasons for these achievers to be more motivated to continue their hard work.

We talked to this year’s golden achievers about their Santos Land experience and what’s their secret, if there is, in becoming a successful real estate professional:

Carolyn Medel

For the past years that you've been with SLDC, what made you so motivated to continuously sell products/properties from the company?

After working with this company for nearly a decade, I remain motivated to continuously sell products/properties from this company because of my family - my son, daughter and my husband Patrick, and this is also my passion. I’d like to believe that I have persevered because it gives me purpose as a broker which is to help my clients find their dream homes. This work has also allowed me to give my children a comfortable life which I didn’t get to experience when I was their age.

What's your secret to becoming an achiever in delivering quotas and selling properties?

I believe behind my achievements are hard work and trust in my agents and myself. You also need to toughen up your skin to succeed especially in a cut-throat industry like real estate, you have to be someone who can withstand anything that may cross your path be it a rude client or messed up documents you have to face it head-on.

How do you feel now that you are one of the golden achiever awardees?

I feel a sense of accomplishment because I exceeded my expectations especially working in an industry such as real estate where you can't be lazy and complacent due to stiff competition and with Covid-19 hindering us from meeting our clients it has been difficult, to say the least. But I am proud of myself that even though the odds are against me I still managed to be part of this.

For the past years that you've been with SLDC, what made you so motivated to continuously sell products/properties from the company?

For the past years that we have been with SLDC, what made us so motivated to continuously sell their properties is the generosity of the company to its sellers. Sales and marketing support, great incentives offerings, and high-quality projects to sell for our beloved clients - these are more than enough for us to continue selling what SLDC has to offer for the market.

What's your message for SLDC's 50th anniversary?

Thank you for the many opportunities that you have given to us and to our team, as well as to our home buyers. We are praying for more success and more people to bless you with your business and your projects.

What's your secret to becoming an achiever in delivering quotas and selling properties?

There's no secret to success other than setting a goal, being continually motivated to achieve it, focusing only on your goal, and believing in the quality of your project and believing that you can achieve your goal.

Aimee Maturan

For the past years that you've been with SLDC, what made you so motivated to continuously sell products/properties from the company?

Above all the reasons there is, top of the list is the quality properties that they are offering. We know that when we sell a Santos Land property, our clients will be satisfied. Our confidence level of selling their properties is really on the roof.

One good indicator that we really believe with SLDC is we personally purchased a property for our family as investment. Also, we really enjoyed the experiences we had when we got to avail our travel Incentives.

What's your secret to becoming an achiever in delivering quotas and selling properties?

There are five things that we focus our energies on selling properties. First, having a goal of reaching the Quota; second, knowing and appreciating the project; finding the right buyer; having trust with the developer; and lastly, our trained sellers that we also treat as our own family.
