IT'S the most wonderful time of the year again at SM City Clark!
To usher in the Yuletide season, the premier shopping mall unveiled its Christmas centerpiece for 2021 -- a 45-feet Christmas tree at the center of an English-inspired garden.
The towering Christmas tree is adorned with hundreds of colorful lights and Christmas balls, surrounded by giant flamingos, smaller Christmas trees, and gazebos complete with tables and chairs just like a typical English garden.
The Christmas centerpiece was unveiled on October 28 at the shopping mall’s Event Center.
The lighting of the Christmas centerpiece was led by SM Supermalls Assistant Vice President Engr. Junias Eusebio, Clark Development Corporation (CDC) President and Chief Executive Officer Manuel Gaerlan, Mabalacat City Mayor Crisostomo Garbo, Angeles City Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr., and Department of Tourism Regional Director Carolina Uy.
“Christmas festivities for this year will no doubt be different but it would not stop us from observing this tradition as it brings joy, love, hope, and some normalcy to people,” Engineer Eusebio shared.
Also present during the lighting ceremonies were SM Supermalls Regional Operations Manager North IV Andrea Madlangbayan, SM Supermalls Assistant Vice President for Marketing Jefferson Suarez, SM City Clark Mall Manager Jerwin Jalandoni, SM City Clark Assistant Mall Manager Marianne Grace Medina-Gavino, Angeles City Vice Mayor Vicky Vega-Cabigting, Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel, Clark International Airport Corporation Vice President for Operations IC Calaguas, and Mabalacat City Vice Mayor Geld Aquino.
Aside from the Christmas centerpiece, shoppers at SM City Clark are also treated with various Christmas decorations including holiday trees and wreaths spread throughout the mall.
The unveiling of SM Supermalls holiday centerpieces has been a part of the longstanding tradition that ushers in Christmas time in Pampanga.
SM City Clark’s Christmas centerpiece will be on display until January 6, 2022.
