THE City Health Office announced Tuesday, November 2, that a total of 460,660 doses of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) vaccines have been administered since the vaccination rolled out in Zamboanga City in March.

Dr. Dulce Amor Miravite, city health officer, said that 184,821 individuals are already fully vaccinated.

"They represent 27 percent of the target eligible population of 694,696," Miravite said.

Miravite said that 275,839, representing 40 percent of the target eligible population of 694,696, have received their first dose of the vaccines.

Meanwhile, she said that they accelerated the vaccination rollout in health centers and other identified vaccination sites in a bid to further increase the number of vaccinees in the city.

She said they are also set to conduct mobile vaccination activities in strategic locations during the day and even at nighttime. (SunStar Zamboanga)
