THE cumulative number of Covid-19 cases in Cagayan de Oro has reached 20,201 after 13 more residents tested positive for the virus.
According to the City Health Office, of the 13 new local cases, four were local index cases, six were close contacts of previously confirmed cases, one was a local authorized person outside residence (Apor), one Apor with link, and one mortality.
Cagayan de Oro now has 509 active cases, 94 of whom were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city, 414 were outpatients, and one returning overseas Filipino (ROF) or locally stranded individual (LSI).
The city also registered 37 new recoveries. This brought the total number of recoveries in Cagayan de Oro to 18,854.
The total number of Covid-19 deaths in the city has now reached 838.
