THE City Health Office reported on Friday, November 5, 2021, 25 new cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19).
The relatively lower cases brought the number of active Covid cases down to 524, 91 of whom were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city, 430 were outpatients, and three ROFs/LSIs.
Of the 25 new confirmed cases, two were returning overseas Filipino workers (ROFs), 22 were local index cases, and one close contact of previously confirmed case.
The new local cases brought the cumulative number of infections in the city to 20,251.
Cagayan de Oro also registered 16 new coronavirus-positive persons who were now tagged as "recovered." This brought the total number of recoveries in Cagayan de Oro to 18,888.
The number of Covid-19 deaths in the city remains at 839.
