MOST of the active cases in Cagayan de Oro are residents of Barangay Carmen, said the City Health Office.
The cumulative number of active cases in the city has gone down to 524, of which 91 were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC) and other hospitals in the city, 430 were outpatients, and three are returning overseas Filipino workers (ROFs)/locally stranded individuals (LSIs).
As of November 4, Barangay Carmen has 62 active cases, followed by Barangays Balulang with 54 active cases, Lumbia with 41 cases, Iponan with 32, Kauswagan with 30 cases, Bulua with 28 cases, Canitoan with 25 cases, Bugo with 22 cases, Macasandig and Camaman-an with 21 cases, and Gusa with 16 cases.
Meanwhile, the total number of vaccinated individuals in Cagayan de Oro as of November 3 was 551,571, of which 313,435 received their first dose of the Covid-19 vaccines and 238,136 were fully vaccinated.
Data also showed that of the 551,571 vaccinated individuals, 439,604 were vaccinated in city-run vaccination sites, while 111,967 were vaccinated in the hospitals.
Among those who were vaccinated in city-run vaccination sites were 31,165 frontline healthcare workers, 58,200 senior citizens, 91,490 persons with comorbidities, 219,741 essential frontline workers, 24,733 from the A5 priority group, 12,975 from the ROAP priority group, and 1,300 from the pedia A3 and ROPP groups.
