CORONAVIRUS disease (Covid-19) cases in Angeles City, Pampanga has continued to drop as the City Health Office noted that no close contacts were tested at the City College of Angeles (CCA) swabbing center.

Isikiel Kim, one of the health workers at the swabbing center, shared a photo on his Facebook wall showing no queue of Angeleños for swabbing.

On November 3, the City Government noted no new active case of Covid-19, with cases dropping to single-digit since October.

"For the first time in almost two years, the swabbing area of the Angeles City has no new community swab case today," Isikiel Kim wrote on his Facebook post.

"For the first time in almost two years, the swabbing area in the CCA has no patients," he added.

According to Kim, for the last two weeks, the average daily swabbing was about 20 per day.

For this week, it has lessened to half or an average of 10 per day.

"May mga araw po na 4 to 7 na Angeleños lang po ang nasa-swab namin," Kim shared.

Kim said this was far from the situation before, with the highest being 161 swabs in a day.

Kim, together with health workers serving as swabbers at the CCA, thanked Mayor Carmelo "Pogi" Lazatin Jr., Chief Adviser IC Calaguas, Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel, and the vaccination team for the extensive vaccination drive.

"Thank you for working non-stop daily in delivering vaccine services for Angeleños," Kim said.
