Ang `Smile Creations by Dr. Frank’ ang nagpaluyo sa mga bulawanong pahiyum nilang Miss Universe Philippines Beatrice Luigi Gomez, Miss World Philippines Tracy Maureen Perez, ug Miss Multinational Philippines Shaila Rebortera nga puros nidaug karong tuiga sa national pageant.
Si Dr. Vicoy usab ang cosmetic dentist niadto nilang Miss Universe Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados, Miss Global Philippines 2020 Kylah Sanchez, Miss Philippines Earth-Water 2019 Chelsea Fernandez ug daghan pa kaayo.
“It started in 2018 when I opened my first dental clinic in Mabolo. It was the late Madame Jonas Borces who gave me the break when he entrusted me their candidates. After that almost all of the beauty queens and modelling camps in Cebu availed my services. It was really a great opportunity for me and I’m always thankful for that and to be part of their journey. By then I was known to be the dentist of the stars and beauty queens, and was given the privilege to judge some of the pageant events,” asoy sa 31-anyos nga doktor sa Superbalita Laysho.
“In 2019, I opened up my second branch in Global City in Taguig, Manila. My showbiz clients include pop stars Yeliee Tung (sister ni Lovi Poe), Garret Bolden, Daniele Ozaraga, Aiah Arceta and Jimi Marquez, and also Sunshine Guimary (sexy star), Sandy Tolentino (ex-Sexbomb) and Denise Cornejo (ex-model),” dugang pa niya.
“My mom is a businesswoman while my dad is an army officer. I think I'm the first in our clan or family to be a doctor. And I'm so grateful for that.”
“Way back in college, my clinical instructors used to praise my work and I can still remember when they told me that I'm the next guy for prosthodontics. After graduation from Cebu Doctors’ University, I worked as an associate dentist. I really started from the scratch. After college wa nako mangayo sa akong parents. I did sideline business like selling cars and etc. for additional income. But while doing so I already started my cosmetic dentistry practice. I put up Smile Creations by Dr. Frank facebook page. I didn’t expect that I was doing already a digital marketing.”
Niadtong Marso gibuksan niya ang una niyang beach resort, ang Matahum Paradise Villas sa Medellin, Cebu tungod sa iyang hilig sa wakeboarding, surfing ug scuba diving.
“At first it was just a beach house but after siya nag-trending I decided to expand everything and set up more villas, bar and restaurant. We're not done yet but we are already operational. So from a dentist who flies back and forth Manila to Cebu and vice versa every 2 weeks to a resort owner.”

How do you describe yourself?
Achiever, hardworking, risk-taker, creative maybe because I'm left-handed. I’m just a simple guy who takes advantage in every opportunity. Before pandemic I used to work 12 hours a day, fly back and forth Manila-Cebu just to handle clients. I set priorities and goals and work for it. I also think I’m generous to everyone because I used to do charity works. It’s so fulfilling to help and see them happy.
Unsay pinakalisud na-encounter nimo this pandemic?
I think when I started building up my resort. I spent a lot of money for the materials and my workers. I have 50-70 workers including my dental assistant and dentists. I cannot stop the project because it helps them feed their families. Imagine, if I will not work and find patients, how will I pay their salaries and all? It was June when I started to open again my Manila branch. The hardest part is I have to get tested every now and then for my patients and travel requirements. And sometimes ma-lockdown pa ko sa Manila and Cebu. It's been 12-13 years being alone and independent so there's nobody for me when I'm sick. Need jud maningkamot to take care of myself.
Are you in a relationship?
Yes and I'm looking forward to take it to the next level which is to have my own family.
Aside from going to the beach, how do you unwind?
Cars and coffee during Sunday. And fun runs, too. I’m really into cars. I do car racing since college. I also play guitar, drums...
Pila mo ka managsuon?
We’re three in the family from Cagayan de Oro city. I’m the middle one. But I’ve been living here in Cebu for 12 years now.
Unsa pay gusto nimong ma-achieve?
I think growth sa akong career. I want to be known as the best cosmetic dentist in the Philippines. That’s my target.
