THE Commission on Higher Education (Ched) has approved the holding of limited face-to-face (F2F) classes of some college programs of the University of St. La Salle (USLS)-Bacolod, the school announced on its Facebook Page Wednesday, November 10, 2021.
Among the college programs that were allowed to hold limited F2F classes are the Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Medicine, the university said.
These programs were allowed to hold limited F2F classes after having complied with the requirements of the Ched and Department of Health (DepEd), under Joint Memorandum Circular number 2021-001 effective November 5, 2020 to August 22, 2022.
The Ched, however, reiterated that the authority to hold limited F2F classes shall be subject to revocation if the situation fails to maintain and to comply with rules and regulations stated in the circular.
USLS is the third tertiary school in Negros Occidental to be given authority to hold limited F2F classes.
Earlier, the Southland College in Kabankalan City and Northern Negros State College of Science and Technology in Sagay City were allowed to hold in-person classes for nursing and diploma in health programs.
