MORE than 300 grams of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu were seized during an anti-illegal drug operation launched along MacArthur Highway in Minalin town on Thursday, November 11, 2021.
Police Regional Office-Central Luzon Director Brigadier General Matthew Baccay said the illegal drugs were recovered from a 30-year-old woman identified as Oraya Ampaso of Barangay Sta. Trinidad, Angeles City.
A total of seven sachets of shabu weighing around 305 grams with an estimated value of P2,074,000 together with the P500 marked money and other personal belongings were confiscated from the suspect's possession.
Charges for violations of Section 5 and 11 Article II of Republic Act 9165 were being prepared against the arrested suspect.
