32 new Covid-19 cases recorded in Pampanga

THE Department of Health (DOH) recorded some 32 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) infections in Pampanga on Sunday, November 9, 2021, including in Angeles City.

This brought the total confirmed cases in Pampanga to 68,604, according to the DOH’s official coronavirus tracker. Total active cases in the province were currently at 492 cases while the number of recoveries was at 66,414 of the total number of confirmed cases.

Some 1,698 people have died of the virus since the start of the pandemic according to the DOH Tracker report.

In the last 14 days, some 437 new cases have been recorded in Pampanga alone. Pampanga, which has the second-highest case incidence and deaths in the region, also reported some 19 deaths from the virus in the last 14 days.

Of the 47 health facilities in Pampanga, only 188 of the 1,107 beds are currently occupied. The province’s bed occupancy rate is currently at 17 percent. This means that the bed occupancy rate in some 42 health facilities has returned to safe levels.
