Claretians to hold Word Conference 2021

THE Claretian Missionaries-Philippine Province and Claretian Communications Foundation Inc. will hold the Word Conference 2021 via virtual conference on Nov. 29-30.

The event is in collaboration with Claret School of Quezon City. The two-day online event will start at 9 a.m. and end at 12 p.m. via Zoom video-conferencing application. The conference is free of charge.

Word Conference 2021 carries the theme, “Gifted to Give: ‘A gift opens the way and ushers the giver into the presence of the Great.’ (Prov 18:16).”

“This project of Claretian Communications Foundation Inc. under the Bible Apostolate of the Claretian Missionaries–Philippine Province is our contribution to the Church as we celebrate 500 Years of the arrival of Christianity in the Philippines and 75 Years of Claretian Presence in the Philippines,” said Fr. Julius Jose Coching, executive director of Claretian Communications Foundation.

This year’s speakers will deal with the topic of the word, music, shrines and churches and popular devotions as gifts of the presence of Jesus. They will share how these gifts developed and became part of our culture and faith. The speakers will inspire us on how these gifts can be developed as a mission for new evangelization to the world.

The Claretian missionaries, formally the Congregation of Missionaries, Sons of the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary, are a community of Roman Catholic priests and brothers, founded in 1849 by Anthony Mary Claret. They are active as missionaries worldwide, in more than 65 countries on five continents (Wikipedia).
