No Covid-19 cases in Mabalacat for 2 days

NO COVID-19 cases were reported in Mabalacat City for two consecutive days.

This was based on the report of the Mabalacat City Covid-19 Response Integrated System (Cris) on November 15, 2021.

Active case in the city remains at 23 with positivity rate of only 0.3 percent, the Cris office stated.

Mabalacat City Mayor Crisostomo Garbo urged each Mabalaqueño not to be complacent about the decline in the number of Covid-19 cases in the city.

The mayor appealed to the public to continue observing government-mandated minimum public health standards.

Garbo said 20 out the 27 barangays in his city are now Covid-19-free.

Garbo attributed the downward trend of Covid-19 cases in the city to its intensified vaccination program.

Few days ago, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG)-Central Luzon urged Mabalacat City and other local government units with high inoculation coverage to submit a documented report on their vaccination best practices.

In a supplementary attachment, records show that Mabalacat City has already vaccinated 96.06 percent (first dose immunity) and 78.68 percent (full dose immunity) of its 198,001 target population, the highest in Central Luzon.
